Wrong Carriage Right Groom menceritakan kisah dua orang pengantin wanita yang tidak sengaja tertukar.
Diceritakan bahwa pada masa Dinasti Tang, di Yang Zhou ada dua wanita yang menikah di hari yang sama.
Wanita pertama adalah Du Bing Yan yang seharusnya menikah dengan Qi Tian Lei, putra ketiga Qi yang sakit parah.
Selanjutnya, wanita yang kedua adalah Li Yu Hu yang harus menikah dengan seorang bandit yang bernama Yuan Bu Qu.
Dalam perjalanan menuju rumah calon pengantin pria, kedua pengantin wanita ini mengunjungi Kuil Dewa Gunung.
Tiba-tiba kuil tersebut terbakar. Dalam kekacauan tersebut kedua pengantin wanita ternyata salah menaiki tandu pernikahan.
